In Spring 2010, an attempt will be made for the first time in history to travel to one of the World’s poles by hovercraft.

The thought of becoming the first to hovercraft to the magnetic North Pole is the brain child of Simon Marshall. With over a decade’s worth of experience of planning & participating expeditions to the North Pole, Simon has teamed up with Alex Henney in their pursuit of claiming the title of the first team to travel across the high Arctic to the position of the 1996 magnetic North Pole.

Having postponed the attempt from Spring ’09 due to the economic environment, the team will be undertaking the challenge in ‘10. Here you can find a huge amount of information on what the team will be doing, & what they have done.
